Why flying planes?
Because I am not a bird myself 🙂 I love the nature and everything about travelling.

How did you start?
I started my aviation path with gliders at Bex. It was for me the cheapest and purest way to fly ! And I am still looking forward to fly these gliders again !

For how long do you fly and what is your experience in terms of championships?
My very first takeoff was with the age of 15 in an ASK21. I then started flying power planes in 2014 with my dad as instructor. I finally started aerobatics with Jerome Cusin in 2018 and had the chance to participate to the Hamilton Cups and SNAC in 2019.

Why the Extra?
To be honest I did not choose the plane, It happened that we have an Extra at the club. But I am glad that we have such a fantastic plane. It brought me a lot of knowledge.

If there could be only one, what would it be?
I really like the Marchetti as we can do both: aerobatics and travel.

What is your favourite figures?
The hammerhead 🔨

Any quotes or short story linked to your pilot’s life you would like to share with us?
My favorite quote is one of Leonardo Da Vinci : « Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return. ». Probably because it describes me well, always looking out for planes since my younger age.

Do you have other hobbies when you are grounded?
If I have time I like to do all kinds of outdoor sports.

What is your wish in terms of SAA or aerobatics in Switzerland?
On a short term vision : why not doing an international competition in Switzerland ?
On a longer term vision: I am excited to see what the future holds for aviation. But I hope that all kinds of aviation like aerobatics or historic planes will continue to be preserved and fly forever !
