Why judging the competition and aerobatic flights?
I don’t know how it happened. For sure a passion for aerobatics, assistant judge while I was getting my flight license before I could start aerobatics… and definitively a passionate instructor who launched me in this world….;-)
Do you also fly? Yes
How did you start?
It must be family… a mother who worked on Ariane 4 and 5, a father aeronautical engineer… I went to the aerodrome of Bex once to make a flight, and here is…
For how long have you been flying and what is your experience in terms of judging Championships?
Flying license: 2009, judge since 2012. international judge assistant in Dubnica for EAC 2012. Several SNAC and Cups in Switzerland, Championships in Belgium.
Is there some events/championships you prefer?
All. many interesting people and situations…
What is your favorite figure ?
With J: Mülleroïde et « tire-bouchon »!!! To judge no preferred figure. one family of figure I don’t like judging: roll turns!!!! hard to perform, hard to judge, always low scores because so many mistakes possible in only one figure…
Any quotes or short stories linked to your pilot’s/judge’s life you would like to share with us?
Just one but BEFORE my pilot/judge life…: When I was 16 years old, my parents asked me: would you rather have us pay for your motorcycle license, car driving lessons or an airplane license? My answer was: Dad! Do you think it’s easy to go to the movies in town with my friends by plane?!?!?!?…. What I regretted a few years later!!…. 🙂
Do you have other hobbies when you aren’t at the field?
MANY!!!! My job and also DIY, interior design, and Lego!! (Someone to give me days longer than 24 hours?)
What is your wish in terms of SAA or aerobatics in Switzerland?
So many! and I’m working on it!! we definitively have talents! We have to promote them!!
