Why do I have to be a member of the Aero-Club?

The Aero-Club Switzerland is associated with the Swiss Olympic Association. It is the overlaying entity for all matters related to airsports and leisure flying in Switzerland. To be a member of the SAA, you have to be a member of AeCS.

Use the following document for applying for a membership of AeCS (see also their webpage for online application):

The form has to be faxed to             +41 41 370 21 70       

or send it to:

FAI license

There is no FAI license requirement for entering the Swiss National Aerobatic Championships since 2005. Nevertheles, if you intend to compete internationally, this license is a requirement.

A FAI sports license is easy to get. You have to be a member of AeCS or a comparable institution, then you can apply using the following form:

You want to be an SAA member? Aside from several benefits this is a cool thing anyway. So here are the proceedings:

Be an AeCS member

Be a MFVS member

SAA membership costs only 120 sFr

All there is required to gain membership is a mail with your coordinates to info at saa.ch. Join now!
